The Benefits Firm Annual Charity Golf Scramble

Our annual golf scramble is held on the last Friday of July at Nevel Meade golf course in Prospect. Proceeds from the scramble will benefit the West End School. This afternoon scramble has a tee time of 12:30, with registration beginning at 10:30. Breakfast and/or lunch is available during the registration period, with snacks and drinks being served throughout the scramble. Your registration fee includes your greens fees, breakfast, lunch and an after-scramble cookout.

Registration begins in May of each year. Don’t have a foursome? Don’t worry! You can register as an individual player, or as a team of 2 or 3. We also have opportunities available for hole sponsors and premiere sponsors. Recognition will be given to sponsors throughout the scramble.

St. Matthews Mid-Summer’s Night 5K Run/Walk

Start line at Bethel St. Paul
Post race cookout at Saint’s
Our annual 5K started in the summer of 2009 and also benefits the West End School. The run is a Wednesday evening run in the last week of July. The first year was a huge success, and continued to grow in our second year despite rain storms! The run starts in the heart of St. Matthews in the parking lot of Bethel St. Paul and continues through the neighborhood behind. Your registration fee will get you a t-shirt, entry to the race and a free cookout at Saint’s after the race. The top male and female from each age category will be recognized, as well as the top 3 overall for men and women. The age categories are as follows:

20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
Come join us for the race, and you will also get to meet the founders and students of the West End School! This race is a rare opportunity for the students to see how much their community really cares for them.

Race Participant: $25 Early Registration (deadline: 5 PM, July 22nd)/$30 Late Registration
Includes 5k T-shirt and entrance to the post race cookout

Includes your company logo on the 5k T-shirt and 5 free participants in the 5k run/walk

The Benefit Show for the West End School is the newest addition in our Charity Week lineup. Our first event was held in 2010 at the end of July. We had an amazing turnout and great music from Divided We Fall, the Confessional, Your News Vehicles and Highline. Our first year was a great success with the help of Clifton and SkyBar at Saint’s in St. Matthews. This is a new event that we look forward to getting bigger and better each year.
